Application:
Lanthanum chloride is a salt of lanthanum and hydrochloric acid. It is widely used in the production of electronics, optics, ceramics and catalysts.
This compound also has phosphor properties, that is, the ability to absorb energy and emit light of a certain wavelength. This property makes it useful in the production of phosphors for televisions, computer monitors and other electronic devices.
This compound also has phosphor properties, that is, the ability to absorb energy and emit light of a certain wavelength. This property makes it useful in the production of phosphors for televisions, computer monitors and other electronic devices.
Production:
The production technology is usually carried out by a chemical reaction between lanthanum oxides (La2O3) and hydrochloric acid (HCl). This process can be represented by the following reaction:
Al2o3 + 6HCl -> 2alcl3 + 3H2O
To begin with, lanthanum oxide is mixed with hydrochloric acid in the reactor. As a result of the reaction, chloride and water are formed. After that, the resulting salt can be isolated and purified from impurities.

After work, wash your face, hands and any unprotected areas of the body thoroughly. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye/face protection. In case of skin contact: Rinse with plenty of soap and water. If inhaled: Remove the victim to fresh air and provide him with complete rest in a position convenient for breathing. In case of contact with eyes: Rinse eyes carefully with water for a few minutes. Remove contact lenses if you use them and if it is easy to do. Continue rinsing the eyes. Contact a poison control center/doctor if you feel unwell. In case of skin irritation: consult a doctor. Remove contaminated clothing and wash it before use. Move the contents to a container for further disposal at the appropriate organization.
